The Holy Missions in our parish will take place from October 20th
to October 26. They will be led by Fr. Sebastian Luszczki OMI
and Fr. Sebastian Wisniewski OMI. The Holy Missions will end
with the thanksgiving Mass on Saturday, October 26th at 5 pm
followed by a banquet at 6 pm. We ask all parishioners to pray for
the mission and to reserve time for this event, which takes place in
the parish every few dozen years.

PRAYER BEFORE THE HOLY MISSION

God, our Father, who loved the world so much that you sent your
Son to renew the broken relationship of love with you, we ask you
that there would be nobody in our parish who would remain deaf
to His Word and resistant to His love and grace. Let the time of the
Holy Mission bring each of us the greatest treasure that the world
cannot give: peace of conscience to the hearts, love and harmony
to the families, unity to the parish, and new blessings to the
Church. Holy Spirit, renew us and the face of our parish. Mother
of God, embrace us with your protection. Amen

Vacation with God for children from our parish from 7 to 14 years old, in Kaszuby, Ontario, will take
place August 12th to August 22nd 2019 in the beautifully located scout camp, on the lake near Barry’s Bay ~ 350 km, northeast of
Toronto. We invite children for a great vacation organized by the parish of St. Casimir for the last 15 years. This year, under the spiritual care of Father Paul Nyrek and counselors/ university youth from our parish. Price $500; second child $450; third child $250. His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, invites all to celebrate in the Chrism Mass on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Michael’s Cathedral on 66 Bond Street. During the Mass the oils will be blessed. The liturgy calls for three kinds of oils: oil of the sick, oil of catechumens – used at baptism – and chrism oil which is a mixture of natural oil and vegetable oil with spices (most often with balsam). The oil of chrism is the most widely used of the three oils. It is used on the sacrament of baptism, confirmation and holy orders. It is also used in the consecration of churches and altars.
