Each calendar year the Canadian Polish Millennium Fund awards grants in May and October.  Grant applications may be found on the Millennium Fund’s website at www.millenniumfund.ca.  To be eligible for consideration, every application must be fully completed, signed and submitted according to the following criteria:

In May:

Applications made by on behalf of Canadian-Polish institutions / organizations / groups or individuals such as educational institutions, cultural institutions, social and youth organizations and authors of published books which deal with Polish and/or Polonia matters:  the deadline for submission is April 15.  All applications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

In October:

Applications for student grants:  applicants must be students of Polish descent who have completed their first year of studies and are currently enrolled in a program of study at a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.  The deadline for submission is September 15.   All applications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

In addition, the Millennium Fund administers four distinct student awards:

1.  The Dr. S. J. Biskupski grant is awarded to a Canadian resident of Polish descent who undertakes studies of the Polish language in Poland.  The deadline for submission is September 15^th.  All applications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline date will not be accepted

1. The “POMNIK PAMIĘCI” grant is funded by Bronisława Stanisławska in memory of her sons Wojtek and Witek Stanisławski who were murdered in the German concentration camp at “Auschwitz”.  The award is primarily directed towards students of Polish history at the University of Toronto.  The deadline for submission is September 15.   All applications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

1. The Col. Bolesław Orliński grant is awarded to a student of Polish descent (enrolled in a professional pilot training program in accordance with the wishes of the estate of Polish aviator and test pilot Colonel Bolesław Orliński. As stipulated, students of Polish descent may apply by submitting the completed questionnaire found on our website together with the specified required documentation to the Canadian Polish Millennium Fund.  The deadline for submissions is April 15th each year.  Additional information may be found on our website: www.millenniumfund.ca.

1. In 2007, Zbigniew Czapliński, P.Eng. funded an award for students who enroll in a program of study at a post-secondary institution.  Applicants must be descendants of members of the Polish Home Army (“Armia Krajowa”) who fought during the Second World War.  The deadline for submission is September 15.   All applications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. Zarząd Funduszu Wieczystego Milenium Polski Chrześcijańskiej informuje, że dotacje przyznawane są dwukrotnie w ciągu roku.  Składanie podań odbywa się przez obowiązkowe wypełnienie formularzy znajdujących się na stronie internetowej www.millenniumfund.ca

W maju rozpatrywane są podania:

polonijnych instytucji naukowych, polonijnych instytucji kulturalno-oświatowych, organizacji społecznych i młodzieżowych oraz podania autorów wydanych książek traktujących o sprawach polskich lub polonijnych.

Termin składania podań upływa 15 kwietnia.  Wszystkie podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej niż 15-go kwietnia.  Podania przesłane przez fax lub email nie będą przyjęte.

W październiku

przyznawane są stypendia studenckie, o które mogą ubiegać się studenci polskiego pochodzenia którzy ukończyli pierwszy rok studiów, studiujący na wyższych uczelniach kanadyjskich.  Podobnie jak w przypadku rozdziału dotacji w terminie wiosennym, tak i tu obowiązuje wypełnienie (kompletne) formularza.

Temin składania podań mija 15 września.  Wszystkie podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej niż 15-go września.  Podania przesłane przez fax lub email nie będą przyjęte. 

W ramach naszego Funduszu istnieją cztery specjalne stypendia studenckie:

1. Imienia dr. S. J. Biskupskiego, przeznaczone dla osoby polskiego pochodzenia mieszkającej w Kanadzie, która podjęła studia polonistyczne na uczelni w Polsce.  Podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej ni 15-go września. 

1. Imienia “POMNIK PAMIĘCI ś.p. braci Wojtka i Witka Stanisławskich, zamordowanych w niemieckim obozie koncentracyjnym w „Auschwitz” ufundowane przez panią Bronisławę Stanisławską dla podtrzymania pamięci o jej synach.  Stypendium przeznaczone jest głównie dla studentów historii Polski z Uniwersytetu Torontońskiego. Termin składania podań mija 15 września.  Wszystkie podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej niż 15-go września. 

1. Imienia płk. lotnictwa Bolesława Orlińskiego, przeznaczone dla osoby polskiego pochodzenia pobierającej naukę pilotażu.  Stypendium może być przyznane tylko osobie z odpowiednimi kwalifikacjami.  Podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej niż 15-go kwietnia  Wszelkie informacje na temat stypendium Orlińskiego można znaleźć na stronie internetowej www.millenniumfund.ca

1. Fundusz Milenium dysponuje także stypendium ufundowanym przez inżyniera Zbigniewa Czaplińskiego.  To stypendium przyznawane jest studentom, których przodkowie walczyli w szeregach Polskiej Armii Krajowej podczas Drugiej Wojny Światowej.  Podania oraz kompletnie wypełnione formularze należy przesłać do biura Milenium pocztą zwykłą nie poźniej niź 15-go września.
