"I will serve at the Altar of God"

Altar Servers: Any young person, men and women after receiving First Communion is invited to participate in the liturgical services. In addition, adults serve at Mass during the week and on special occasions. This is a wonderful way for youth to respond to God's call to service.

Dedicated to St. John Berchmans, the Patron Saint of Altar Servers.

Welcome to the Altar Server web page. If you aren't Catholic, you might be wondering what an altar server is. An altar server is a young individual who assists priests during the Holy Mass. He or she does so while wearing
a ceremonial robe or alb. In our parish, we mostly wear white albs. One of the duties of the more experienced servers is to educate and teach children of all ages to become altar servers.
This page has been made available to all altar servers who have questions or would like information regarding serving mass or any other religious activities. It is also open to anyone who has questions on the subject, including parents whose children wish to become altar servers or have any questions.
