Each calendar year the Canadian Polish Millennium Fund awards\ngrants in May and October.  Grant\napplications may be found on the Millennium Fund\u2019s website at www.millenniumfund.ca<\/a>.  To be eligible for consideration, every\napplication must be fully completed, signed and submitted according to the\nfollowing criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nMay:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications made by on behalf\nof Canadian-Polish institutions \/ organizations \/ groups or individuals such as\neducational institutions, cultural institutions, social and youth organizations\nand authors of published books which deal with Polish and\/or Polonia\nmatters:  the deadline for submission\nis April 15.  All applications and\nsupporting documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax or\nemail, as they will not be considered. \nIncomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will\nnot be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nOctober:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications for student\ngrants:  applicants must be students of\nPolish descent who have completed their first year of studies and are currently\nenrolled in a program of study at a Canadian post-secondary educational\ninstitution.  The deadline for\nsubmission is September 15.   All\napplications and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than the\ndeadline date.  Please do not send\napplications by fax or email, as they will not be considered.  Incomplete applications or applications received\nafter the deadline will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\naddition, the Millennium Fund administers four distinct student awards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1.  The Dr. S. J. Biskupski grant is awarded\n to a Canadian resident of Polish descent who undertakes studies of the\n Polish language in Poland.  The\n deadline for submission is September 15th<\/sup>.  All applications and supporting\n documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax\n or email, as they will not be considered. \n Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline\n date will not be accepted<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. The “POMNIK\n PAMI\u0118CI\u201d grant is funded by Bronis\u0142awa Stanis\u0142awska in memory of her sons\n Wojtek and Witek Stanis\u0142awski who were murdered in the German\n concentration camp at \u201cAuschwitz\u201d. \n The award is primarily directed towards students of Polish history\n at the University of Toronto.  The\n deadline for submission is September 15.   All applications and supporting\n documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax\n or email, as they will not be considered. \n Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline\n will not be accepted.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      1. The Col.\n Boles\u0142aw Orli\u0144ski grant is awarded to a student of Polish descent\n (enrolled in a professional pilot training program in accordance with the wishes of the estate of Polish aviator\n and test pilot Colonel Boles\u0142aw Orli\u0144ski. As stipulated, students of\n Polish descent may apply by submitting the completed questionnaire found\n on our website together with the specified required documentation to the\n Canadian Polish Millennium Fund. \n The deadline for submissions is April 15th each year.  Additional information may be found on\n our website: www.millenniumfund.ca<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        1. In 2007,\n Zbigniew Czapli\u0144ski, P.Eng. funded an award for students who enroll in a\n program of study at a post-secondary institution.  Applicants must be descendants of\n members of the Polish Home Army (\u201cArmia Krajowa\u201d) who fought during\n the Second World War.  The\n deadline for submission is September 15.   All applications and supporting\n documents must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.  Please do not send applications by fax\n or email, as they will not be considered. \n Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline\n will not be accepted.           polonijnych instytucji\nnaukowych, polonijnych instytucji kulturalno-o\u015bwiatowych, organizacji\nspo\u0142ecznych i m\u0142odzie\u017cowych oraz podania autor\u00f3w wydanych ksi\u0105\u017cek traktuj\u0105cych\no sprawach polskich lub polonijnych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          przyznawane s\u0105 stypendia\nstudenckie, o kt\u00f3re mog\u0105 ubiega\u0107 si\u0119 studenci polskiego pochodzenia kt\u00f3rzy\nuko\u0144czyli pierwszy rok studi\u00f3w, studiuj\u0105cy na wy\u017cszych uczelniach kanadyjskich.  Podobnie jak w przypadku rozdzia\u0142u dotacji w\nterminie wiosennym, tak i tu obowi\u0105zuje wype\u0142nienie (kompletne) formularza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
